NURSERY VOLUNTEERS are needed for the summer. If you would like to take care of our youngest congregants for one Sunday every month or two, please let Carol Donofrio know you are interested. She is putting together a summer schedule.
SUMMER LEMONADE HELPERS prepare and offer refreshments after worship in the summer. We have a sign-up sheet on the table for you to choose a date to help in this way. |

The Annual Meeting of the Metro Chicago American Baptist Churches is to be held in Chicago on Saturday, May 18th. The theme is Violence, How can Christians Transform It? Having a delegate from Woodside Church attend this meeting is important to the Outreach and Social Action Committee. Expenses to attend (travel, overnight, food, and registration) run about $300. Because our church budget does not cover these expenses, we are asking for donations. If you would like to contribute, please leave your gift in the office or through the offering in an envelope clearly marked ‘Delegate’s Expenses’. Our delegate is Rev. Jean Munro. |

We are instituting a practice of “Liaison Member” on Sunday mornings to help the minister with all the details of the service so he can focus on preparing for his sermon details. If you have a late announcement, question regarding office items, or other things that you wish to ask Rev. Brown about, please talk with either Jim Abbott or Norm Stong instead of going to Kendall. They will handle it, or let you know that it would be more appropriate to ask him after worship, or call the office the next day. Thank you for cooperating with this Church and Ministry Committee request. |
